The Corning Cardinals will be playing at home against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Corning is out to stop a 11-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Corning ended up a good deal behind Oroville and lost 42-23. Corning has not had much luck with Oroville recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Las Plumas earned a 54-43 victory over Orland on Tuesday.
Corning's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Las Plumas, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.
