At the plate, the team relied heavily on Beau Blake, who fired off two home runs, three RBI, and one double while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Fisher, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Hughson lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Escalon lost 11-1 to Bear Creek on Thursday.

On the hitting side, Escalon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Abbott, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Hughson's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Escalon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
