If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Cloud Tech. On Friday they take on Alexandria at 7:00 PM. St. Cloud Tech are coming into the contest hot, having won five in a row.
St. Cloud Tech took their game against Sartell-St. Stephen last Friday by a conclusive 43-20 score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point St. Cloud Tech had established a 43-20 advantage.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Alexandria, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Rocori, winning 24-12.
Their wins bumped Alexandria to 3-2 and St. Cloud Tech to 5-0. In their win, Alexandria relied heavily on sophomore Nolan Morical, who rushed for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. St. Cloud Tech will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
