The Wilmington Greyhounds can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sharpsville 68-38 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Wilmington sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Sharpsville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Macie Steiner. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points.
Wilmington's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Sharpsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmington's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Sharpsville, they will face off against Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
