Arcata won the last time they faced Fortuna and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Huskies. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Arcata is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Fortuna, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arcata is set to take on their familiar foe McKinleyville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Fortuna will face off against rival Eureka at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
