After losing to the Pitman Pride the last time they met, the Lodi Flames decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lodi put the hurt on Pitman with a sharp 45-23 victory on Friday.
When it comes to explaining why Pitman lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiyana Hosep. Despite the final result, she scored five points. Hosep set a new season high mark in steals with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Pulido, who scored two points along with seven steals.
Lodi now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Pitman, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lodi and West will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. West is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Pitman, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Oakdale at 7:15 p.m. on January 2nd.
