Highway 6 took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hershey Panthers as they made off with a 10-2 win. The Trailblazers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Alexa Hale, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September of 2024. Neveah Browitt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
Highway 6 was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hershey only posted a batting average of .125.
Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Coincidentally, Highway 6 and Hershey will both be playing Alliance the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Trailblazers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
