After only two runs in their last matchup, Mt. Zion made sure to put some runs up on the board against Manchester on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Blue Devils. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Mt. Zion's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-9. As for Manchester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Looking ahead, Mt. Zion will welcome Pepperell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manchester will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against the Dragons, they'll take on Manchester again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
