The Justin-Siena Braves won the last time they faced the Petaluma Trojans, and things went their way on Thursday too. Justin-Siena strolled past the Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 49-30. Given Justin-Siena's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Trojans are ranked 479th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jordan Washington continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Naveena Jackson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Justin-Siena has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Petaluma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-14.
Justin-Siena will head out on the road to take on the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. American Canyon will be looking to keep their 12-game home win streak alive. Petaluma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
