Carmel Sundevils on Wednesday as the Montgomery Aztecs made off with a 74-49 win. The team also got some help courtesy of Lacey Quintanilla, who put up nine points.
Montgomery has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Carmel and nudges their season record down to 16-13.
Montgomery has already played their next game, a 56-49 victory against Vincent Memorial on the 22nd. Mt. Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
