In what's become a running theme this season, San Dimas gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 56-28 victory over Covina at home. Given San Dimas' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Covina is ranked 765th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
San Dimas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaelyn Ramos out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Ramos continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Romero, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Charter Oak has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for San Dimas, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.
