Meanwhile, Wasco put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Taft as Wasco made off with a 4-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for Wasco who now have three in a row.
Shafter's victory bumped their record up to 13-9-2. As for Wasco, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7-3 record this season.
