If Cook County were riding high off their 22-0 takedown of Mountain Iron-Buhl last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. On Wednesday, Cook County were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 24-28 to South Ridge. Cook County's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
With their first defeat of the season, Cook County fell to 7-1. South Ridge improved upon their their flawless record, as they now sit at 8-0.
