In other batting news, Makenna Hellerich was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lacey Down, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs.
Raymond Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cass only posted a batting average of .190.
Raymond Central's record is now 11-13. As for Cass, they dropped their record down to 7-18 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
