Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Upper Merion Area to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devon Maiden, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Maiden continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Smith, who scored four points along with 15 rebounds and four steals.
Upper Merion Area's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Chichester, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Upper Merion Area will play host again and welcome Pottstown, where tip off is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Chichester will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Plymouth Whitemarsh at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Plymouth Whitemarsh's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Chichester's offense will have their work cut out for Chichester.
