The Bloomsburg Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Southern Lehigh Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Southern Lehigh took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bloomsburg, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, Bloomsburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Mount Carmel, taking the game 56-47.
Brynna Zentner was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bloomsburg's points. Teagan Serrano was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Southern Lehigh lost to Bangor on the road by a decisive 44-30 margin last Thursday. Southern Lehigh has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bloomsburg now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Southern Lehigh, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
