In what's become a running theme this season, the Beverly Hills Normans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They put the hurt on Milken with a sharp 52-32 victory. The win was familiar territory for Beverly Hills who now have three in a row.
Beverly Hills had a senior duo take command as Mandy Kohanim dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds and Kayla Zahabian scored 15 points along with two steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Kohanim has scored at least a third of Beverly Hills' points.
Beverly Hills is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Milken, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 10-9.
Beverly Hills will challenge Inglewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Inglewood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1155th, while Beverly Hills is ranked 443rd). As for Milken, they will be playing at home against AGBU at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. AGBU knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Milken likes a good challenge.
