Glascock County will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Jefferson County, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers blew past the Warriors 12-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Easton Davis was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was William Glover, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Glascock County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jefferson County only posted an OBP of .296.
Meanwhile, Jenkins County didn't have quite enough to beat Glascock County on Tuesday and fell 11-10.
Ryley James led a balanced group of hitters, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. He has become a key player for Jenkins County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-18 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Harley Burke, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Glascock County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Jenkins County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.
Glascock County came out on top in a nail-biter against Jenkins County in their previous meeting on Tuesday, sneaking past 11-10. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the War Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
