Thacher extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 7-6 in the process. They never let the Grace Lancers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. This was payback for the Toads, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Miles Maxwell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Henry Molfino was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Coming up, Grace will head out to challenge Dos Pueblos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thacher will be paying especially close attention to the Lancers' match: after the Lancers face off against the Chargers, they'll take on Thacher again at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
