The Stagg Delta Kings came tearing into Monday's game with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Linden at home to the tune of 77-25. Stagg's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Jameelah Pharms, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 13 steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Stagg's points. Kayla Ogle was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds.
Stagg's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Linden, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-26.
Stagg will be playing at home against the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Chavez focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Thursday. As for Linden, they will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Weston Ranch is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
