Warde is 5-0 against Harding since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Warde Mustangs will be playing at home against the Harding Presidents at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Warde has three straight wins, Harding has 26 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Warde posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-33 win over New Canaan.
Meanwhile, Harding was the victim of a rough 63-43 defeat at the hands of Bullard-Havens on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harding in their matchups with Bullard-Havens: they've now lost five in a row.
Warde is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Harding, they bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Warde against Harding in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 55-25 win. Will Warde repeat their success, or does Harding have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
