Redding Christian has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Trinity Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-28, which was the final score in Redding Christian's tilt against Hoopa Valley on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Redding Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 757th, while Hoopa Valley is ranked 187th).
Meanwhile, Trinity beat Fort Bragg 49-38 on Saturday.
Trinity can attribute much of their success to Chloe Albiez, who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kloe Kist, who scored 11 points.
Redding Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Redding Christian came up short against Trinity in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 38-34. Thankfully for Redding Christian, Brynn Scribner (who scored 19 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
