The Freeport Yellowjackets won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were outmatched by Greensburg Salem on the road and fell 59-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Freeport has scored all season.
It was another big night for Kaitlyn Mankins, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds for Greensburg Salem. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mankins has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ashlan Price, who scored five points along with eight assists and five steals.
Freeport's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Greensburg Salem, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-7.
Freeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greensburg Salem also has no future games currently scheduled.
