Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Bishop Union's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Bishop Union extended their postseason success on Thursday against Strathmore. They secured a 30-26 W over the Strathmore Spartans. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 71-42 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Union to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tannyr Ludwick, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. Faye Spoonhunter was another key player, putting up two points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Bishop Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points over those games. Strathmore's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.

Coming up, Bishop Union will square off against Rosamond at 10:00 a.m. on March 1st. One thing working in Rosamond's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. Strathmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
