Murrieta Valley had lost five straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 7-20 to make it six. They came up short against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-3 loss on Tuesday.

As for Temecula Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
On Temecula Valley's side, Stone Tucker made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Tucker was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Zidane Choudry looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

As of now, neither Murrieta Valley nor Temecula Valley have any future games scheduled.
