Coudersport is 10-0 against Cameron County since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Coudersport Falcons will be home for the holidays to greet the Cameron County Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Coudersport had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Oswayo Valley by a score of 41-31 on Monday. The victory was just what Coudersport needed coming off of a 45-20 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Cameron County scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 50-40 win over Smethport.
Cameron County relied on the efforts of Navaeh Spaeth, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals, and Elsie Bresslin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Spaeth scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Cloe Farren, who scored six points.
Coudersport's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cameron County, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.
Coudersport strolled past Cameron County in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 54-40. Will Coudersport repeat their success, or does Cameron County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
