After three games on the road, Mountain House is heading back home. They will take on the Pacheco Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Mountain House has not done well against Los Banos recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Mountain House came out on top against Los Banos by a score of 52-43.
Jariah Indalecio was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Niara Mangrum was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Pacheco had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 48-39 win over Grace Davis on Thursday.
It was another big night for Sasha S siemiller, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan San pedro, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Mountain House pushed their record up to 10-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Pacheco, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8.
Mountain House didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Pacheco when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 37-31 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Pacheco's Shariyah Nance, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Now that she won't be playing on Monday, will it be that much easier for Mountain House to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
