Nevis gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. They captured a comfortable 36-21 victory over Kittson Central.
Meanwhile, Win-E-Mac couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Stephen-Argyle Central, falling 0-35.
Nevis's win lifted them to 1-0 while Win-E-Mac's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Nevis can add another positive mark to their record or if Win-E-Mac can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Nevis's step.
