The West Valley Mustangs lost against the San Jacinto Tigers on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. West Valley was outmatched by San Jacinto on the road and fell 77-23. West Valley has not had much luck with San Jacinto recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
San Jacinto's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luv'lee Sadler, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyera Cameron, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
West Valley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for San Jacinto, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.
West Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Citrus Hill at 5:15 p.m. Citrus Hill is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for San Jacinto, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Heritage has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 226 points over their last three contests.
