The Willits Wolverines will head out on the road to  challenge  the Credo Gryphon  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Credo took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Willits, who comes in off a win.
Willits is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Technology 75-16. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  50-4.

Willits' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Cecily Potter, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and nine  assists. Potter is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Arion Martin, who  made all 6  shots she took racking up 12  points and three  steals.
 Potter wasn't the only one working in the  assists department: Willits was working as a unit and  finished the game with 22  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted  since  the start of last season.
Meanwhile,  Credo played a tough  contest  on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by Sonoma Academy and fell  49-19. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Gryphon in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Anya Besack was Credo's leading scorer, having posted five points.
 Willits' win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for Credo, they now  have a losing record at 7-8.
 Everything came up roses for Willits against Credo in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  46-15 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Willits since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
