Softball Recap: Elkhorn North Has No Trouble Against Cass

Elkhorn North owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Cass Wildcats with a sharp 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Cam Debuse was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Reese Pearson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Elkhorn North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Elkhorn North's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Cass, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Elkhorn North has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Gretna East on the 9th. Cass does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
