Glenelg has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against Marriotts Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Glenelg came up short against the Golden Bears and fell 55-45. Glenelg has not had much luck with the Golden Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Marriotts Ridge pushed their score all the way to 66 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to River Hill. Marriotts Ridge just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Glenelg dropped their record down to 5-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Marriotts Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
Glenelg came out on top in a nail-biter against the in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, sneaking past 53-50. Does Glenelg have another victory up their sleeve, or will the turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
