Pinewood Christian has gone a perfect 4-0 against Citizens Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Citizens Christian Academy will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Pinewood Christian extended their winning streak to four on Friday. Pinewood Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over Strong Rock Christian.

Meanwhile, Citizens Christian Academy posted their closest win since March 27th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Terrell Academy 8-7.

Gray McLean was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4. Citizens Christian Academy is 7-0-1 when McLean posts two or more runs, but 3-5-1 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Thomas Gentry, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had over his last ten matchups.

Citizens Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Pinewood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
