Despite the loss, Elite still got an impressive performance from Jeneyah Fowler, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 22 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhema Armstrong, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Elite bumped their record down to 1-17 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.9 points per game. As for Westlake Charter, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Elite will head out on the road to square off against Fortune Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fortune Early College has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last six games. As for Westlake Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against John Adams Academy at 6:00 p.m.
