 Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley faced Davenport North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with  a  1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Pleasant Valley have been dealt a  draw since  back in April.
 Pleasant Valley's  draw makes their record 18-2-2  this season. As for Marion, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-8.
