The San Juan Hills Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Bonita on Thursday as San Juan Hills made off with a 62-41 win. The win was just what San Juan Hills needed coming off of a 67-43 defeat in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Juan Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Shreeve, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Shreeve has scored at least 25% of San Juan Hills' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Peterson, who scored ten points along with nine steals and eight rebounds.
San Juan Hills is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Bonita, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
San Juan Hills and Portola will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bonita will take on Los Osos in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at. Los Osos is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
