On Thursday, the Liberty Patriots earned  an  8-3 win over the Narbonne Gauchos. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Liberty.

 On Narbonne's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jared Nakazawa, who  went 1-for-4 with a  stolen base and a  double.
 Even though they lost, Narbonne  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty only tossed five.
 Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Narbonne, they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-15.
 Liberty will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Frontier at 4:00  p.m. Liberty will stroll in with a seven game home winning streak (dating back to last season), but they should still watch out: the last time they lost at home was their  May 5 matchup with Frontier. Narbonne will take on Quartz Hill at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
