Quincy and Mt. Shasta squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Quincy had to settle for second. They fell 10-5 to the Bears. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Quincy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lancen Walke, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Mt. Shasta, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11.

Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Shasta, they will face off against Etna on Saturday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
