The Bloomingdale Bulls will head out to face off against the Newsome Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Bloomingdale sitting on seven straight victories and Newsome on 11.
Bloomingdale is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Armwood 19-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulls, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ireland Cates and Makenna Castro were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Cates pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Castro pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Cates scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Castro scored a run while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Cates a new career-high in RBI (two).

Bloomingdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Newsome owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Steinbrenner 1-0.
The result came thanks to Allyson Conner's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Newsome's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Arriana N Williams, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.
Newsome pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Bloomingdale, their record now sits at 12-4.
Newsome's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Bloomingdale has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Newsome, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Bloomingdale keep running through batters, or will the Wolves buck the trend?
Bloomingdale suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Newsome in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Bulls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
