Westlake Academy entered their tilt with Temple Christian on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They breezed past the Eagles to the tune of 53-8. Given the Blacksmiths' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Eagles are ranked 1050th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nicolas Sansone threw for 105 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes. Dexter Butler was his top target, picking up 80 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Preston Colby rushed for 105 yards and three TDs on only nine carries.

Westlake Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Temple Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
