Basketball Game Preview: Forest Lake Christian Falcons vs. Sacramento Adventist Capitals

The Forest Lake Christian Falcons and the Sacramento Adventist Capitals will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Forest Lake Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Golden Sierra by a score of 54-47 on Monday.

Forest Lake Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzie Harrington out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. They claimed a resounding 65-16 win over the Matadors. That looming 65-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Capitals yet this season.

Sacramento Adventist's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Forest Lake Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Forest Lake Christian was taken down by Sacramento Adventist 63-20 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Sacramento Adventist's Victoria Fowler, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards.
