It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chico had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Red Bluff Spartans  5-3. The  victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Chico got a great performance from  Carter Miles as he  struck out six batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Jaden Neugebauer was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  triples, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  triples gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abrahan Medina, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Chico  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Red Bluff struck out six times.
Chico's record is now 27-1. As for Red Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-12.
 Coincidentally, Chico and Red Bluff will both be playing Pleasant Valley the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Vikings at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them  at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
