The Grady Bronchos will face off against the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
New Mexico School for the Deaf will be up against a hot Grady squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Bronchos simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Roy/Mosquero 66-12. That 54 point margin sets a new team best for the Bronchos this season.

Trey Rush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 224 yards and four TDs on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five passes. Those 224 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zander Ciancio, who picked up 118 receiving yards and two scores.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Grady was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 312 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 178 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Grady didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Trell Foote and Gavin West.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for New Mexico School for the Deaf, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past Oklahoma School for the Deaf with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 63-45.
Grady better keep an eye on Santiago Lopez. He was instrumental in New Mexico School for the Deaf's win, picking up 113 receiving yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Lopez also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks and making 17 total tackles. Tyler Todorovic was another key player, throwing for 218 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to New Mexico School for the Deaf's defensive line and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Alex Gonzalez-Lopez and Lopez, who racked up all four sacks between them. Lopez is also crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
Grady's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Everything came up roses for Grady against New Mexico School for the Deaf when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 56-6 win. In that matchup, the Bronchos amassed a halftime lead of 50-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
