Elijah Ip made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Caiden Kennedy was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Alex Chui, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
