Make it nine blowout wins for the Gabrielino Eagles this season. They blew past Mountain View, posting a 52-10 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Gabrielino sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Mia Lim was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for 14 straight games. Sarah Banh was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight steals and six assists.
Gabrielino has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Mountain View, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gabrielino will take on Rosemead at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to take on El Monte at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. El Monte comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
