Kerman is a perfect 3-0 against Dos Palos since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lions will square off against the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kerman will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Sierra Pacific on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Golden Bears. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2025 (when they won 12-1).

Max Ramirez and Izek Rivera did most of the damage at the plate: Ramirez got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI and one run, while Rivera went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two runs gave Rivera a new career-high. John Borges was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kerman kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sierra Pacific only managed five.
Meanwhile, Dos Palos waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 9-4.
Trevin Vincent made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Dos Palos is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 9-12 otherwise. Vincent was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Dos Palos let Chaz Merrell and Ace Obanion run wild. Merrell went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Obanion went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Obanion is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
The win got Dos Palos back to even at 13-13. As for Kerman, their record now sits at 10-16.
Kerman beat Dos Palos 5-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
