La Salle Academy and Lincoln are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Rams will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
On Sunday, La Salle Academy beat Central Catholic 9-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

La Salle Academy got a great performance from Cam Caprio as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave Caprio a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Thomas Malloy was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Angelo Fuscellaro, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Lincoln fell victim to Pilgrim and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 6-0.
Lincoln dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for La Salle Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
La Salle Academy's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Rams have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Lincoln, though, as they've been averaging only 0.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will La Salle Academy continue to outrun the ball?
La Salle Academy beat Lincoln 4-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
