The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Seffner Christian Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Sarasota Christian. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now won six in a row.
Abbie Eanet was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Eanet was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Emma Jackson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with seven RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Alcie Despard also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Seffner Christian made easy work of Cambridge Christian on Thursday and carried off a 9-0 victory.
Not much got past Jacey StJohn, who gave up just three hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep Cambridge Christian off the board. StJohn has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Seffner Christian got a massive performance out of Sydney Cahill, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave Cahill a new career-high. Isabella Biase was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal's record now sits at 6-1. As for Seffner Christian, their record is now 11-1.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal might still be hurting after the 13-4 loss they got from Seffner Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
