Estancia and Orange are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Estancia Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Orange Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orange took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Estancia, who comes in off a win.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Estancia ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They snuck past Costa Mesa with a 32-27 win.
Orange suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 74-38 defeat at the hands of Calvary Chapel. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Orange has suffered against Calvary Chapel since May 11, 2021.
Estancia's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. As for Orange, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Estancia beat Orange 53-41 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Estancia since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
