The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pine River-Backus, who took down 196th ranked Bagley, 24-19.
The Tigers moved up to 171 from 231 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northstar - East. A 24-19 win over the Flyers helped Pine River-Backus improve its standing.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pillager takes on Walker-Hackensack-Akeley/Laporte. The Huskies are currently in second, while the Wolves are in fifth.
Blackduck was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to third in the league. The Drakes vanquished Walker-Hackensack-Akeley/Laporte 28-18 earlier in the week.
